Founder
Cross Timbers Land, LLC was founded in 1996 by Lee Holcombe. A native of the Tallgrass Prairie of Osage County, Lee’s roots trace back to his grandfather who came to Oklahoma as an attorney in 1900. Born on the family ranch, Lee was instilled with the love of agriculture since birth. He graduated from Pawhuska High School and Oklahoma State University, then known as Oklahoma A & M, with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry. After military service, he ranched with his father until his father’s passing and then transferred the ranching operation along to his son.
Lee was highly involved in the industry and community including 10 years as a board member of the Oklahoma State Department of Agriculture, President of the Osage County Cattlemen’s Association, numerous committees for the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association as well as service to the Presbyterian Church, numerous civic activities, and board member of the Sutton Avian Research Center. His love of people and native landscapes with his extensive background in ranching, forages and livestock made the transition from rancher to real estate broker a natural progression.
