Spring Creek is a common name for creeks in Oklahoma. However, this Spring Creek is an uncommon creek because it is representative of large creeks in the western Ozarks which contain large and diverse communities of unique cool water fish. Appropriately named, Spring Creek derives its water supply from springs and groundwater throughout its length.

The Duck Pond, on the West, is located on high ground but is fed by a spring that provides most of its water source. Cliff pond in Kingfisher Hollow is accentuated by large rock cliffs and another spring fed pond is located on a tributary to Kingfisher Hollow. A small pond is located on the North near the entrance to the Ranch. Several of the ponds are stocked and offer fishing opportunities for young and old.

Wildlife and Recreation:

The mix of pine and hardwood timber compliments the diverse riparian creeks to create the habitat for a varied wildlife population. Deer and turkey thrive as well as a multitude of other game and non-game wildlife. The location close to Spring Creek enhances the recreational value as well. The well constructed and numerous trails offer hiking, horseback riding and 4-wheeling and it is obvious that camping opportunities are available at every turn.

Additional Information:

The property is all contiguous with no public access running through the ranch. An all weather county road borders the property on the north at the entrance and access from a county road is available on the West.
The entrance is located only one mile from the nearest paved road with good public roadway network in all directions. The ranch is rich with natural beauty, abundant wildlife and natural resources making it an ideal setting for a corporate or family retreat or private wildlife preserve.
